On each destination page, you will find details of the best months for walking, and suggestions for places to stay.

If you need to know if a book covers a specific town or area where you will be staying, check the contents listing and the index for the book (you can access these from every destination page in this site). If the place you are seeking is not listed in the index or contents, then it is not included in the walks or car tours. If it IS listed, then the number of times it appears in the index will give an indication as to how much it is featured in the text.

If you require any additional information, you are welcome to telephone us on 0207 589 1862 or 01392 274686. However, as publishers we do not always have personal knowledge of all the destinations (that's the job of the authors!) so our advice is often limited to having a look at a copy of the book while you are on the phone. As an alternative to telephoning us, we can often better advise you if you e-mail us (use the "Contact Us" link on the home page) since that gives us more time to check out the information you are seeking. We will normally respond to e-mails of this sort in less than 24 hours.
